He has great interest in music and speaks of it very excitedly - full of energy and blessing. He enjoys nothing as much as making music. We asked Dhani to come to Finest and sit down on the sofa so we can get to know Sweden's equivalence to Justin Timberlake. What do you do currently? - I'm in the studio of course! I spend all my free time there. Most of the time Ishi and I work together. If you weren't a musician, what would you do? - When I was young I wanted to be a police officer or a fireman. But when I turned 7 I began dancing - and wanted to become a musician. - When I was 10 my dream was to be a background dancer for Michael Jackson. Are there any musicians in your family? - My father's side is very musical. On a trip, my grandfather built his own violin and I have that violin at home. What were the first song you listened and sang to? - When I was young it was Lilli and Sussi, now I die for Carola's "Fångad av en stormvind". What was the first record you bought? - The first record I bought was Green Day's "Dookie". Then, I saved money and bought "Mega Skivakademi". What would you do if you didn't sing or dance? - If I didn't choose music I would probably choose clothing. I love fashion, it's something creative I've gotten into. What do you do apart from creating music? - Presently I'm very focused on music only. What happened with you since A-Teens parted? - Apart from studio time, I've been a DJ and a model for Mikas. Other than that everything has been music related. - The first days after A-Teens I had a lot of free time. - We worked intensively from 1999 to the end of 2003. For me, it was important to spend time with friends - and socialize again. Who was your biggest idol growing up? - Michael Jackson. I had a lot of his posters on my walls. If you were an animal, what would you be and why? - I'd like to be a bird so I can fly down to Spain in the winter and just be comfortable flying. Do you have any favorite TV shows/programs? - "Heybaberiba", I love the Discovery Channel, but I hardly ever watch much TV. Is it fun preparing food? - I think it's a lot of fun. I have been blessed with a family that loves to cook, my mom is great. - But it's never cool to prepare food for yourself. Concluding the interview, there has been a lot of articles about you and Natacha. How did you meet? - I actually don't want to talk about that but okay, I might as well just answer the question. - We met through common friends. We had a thing for eachother for a long time. - When we started talking I became astonished over her being so cute, hot, and just a good girl. - She's not what many people may think. How long have you been seeing each other? - Approximately a month now. We had a dinner in Koh Phagan, we both loved the atmosphere.
